Besides the obvious importance of business profitability awareness, net profit calculation is an important measure of channels' effectiveness and comparison in the multi-channel world.
Valigara always keeps your profit in front of your eyes by displaying the Profit graph in the Dashboard.
Valigara extracts the channel-related profit by deducting the total costs from the total sales on channel . The calculation also considers the channel-related expenses in the form of the Average Cost of Acquisition (ACOS) on each channel.
Net Channel Profit = Total Sales on Channel - Total Products Cost - Channel Expenses
Channel Expenses = Total Sales on channel * Channel ACOS
Set up the automatic profit calculation by filling the following fields in General settings -> General tab -> System settings
- Cost field- the base cost of the product, before channel expenses
- by default, Valigara uses the Prices -> Cost field
- Account-specific ACOS - the average cost of sales on channel
- Include external products - define if Valigara considers the sales of products not linked to Valigara in Total Sales on Channel
