Shopify metafields mappings

Valigara provides complete support for Shopify product and order metafields.

Product Metafields

To manage metafields on your Shopify website:

• Go to Channels -> Shopify Settings -> Account settings
• In the relevant account settings, open the Metafields mappings tab
• To add the metafield, click the Add metafield mapping button

Metafield parameters:

• Metafield Key
• Metafield Namespace
  • Default value, if left blank: Valigara
• Shopify Metafield data type - String, Numeric, or JSON string
• Metafield value source:
  • System field - choose one of the existing product fields in Valigara
  • As defined - manually enter the value

Click the Save button.

Variation metafields

Valigara can also manage metafields for listing variations. To enable the functionality:

1. Mark the Support Variations Metafields checkbox
2. Mark the Variant checkbox if a metafield relates to a variation
3. If the Variant checkbox is disabled, Valigara pushes the metafield into the product

On the next integration action, the list of metafields will be added or updated for related products.

Order Metafields

Valigara dynamically fetches Shopify order metafields data.

The fetched metafields are:

• Added as a field in the Order edit page -> Shopify tab
• Available in Orders page filters and Orders Table columns
• Available in Orders Export, as all order fields
