Why does the information in Amazon orders disappear after 30 days?

Modified on Thu, 5 Oct, 2023 at 12:14 PM

Valigara retrieves the order and client information from Amazon.  Amazon’s Data protection policies limit access to buyers' personally identifiable information (PII) . We are required to remove them from our data after 30 days. Therefore, the following fields in the order are hidden after 30 days:

Name, Address, City, State/Region, Country, Postal Code, Phone, and Email

After 30 days, we put the information back on highly secured Amazon servers. This assures that even in case of account breach, no historical clients' information can be exported, and is safe.

Still, you can search orders according to a specific information. F.i. if you know the precise client's email, you can search by it, and relevant order(s) will be displayed. Do do so, switch the "Include Masked / Amazon backuped" in Orders filter to Yes or All.

  • In case you require the information after 30 days, it is still available directly on the Amazon Seller Central .
  • Use Scheduled Exports, to download the information regularly. Before doing so, we recommend checking your storage and uses comply with Amazon Acceptabe Data Use and Protection standards.
