Amazon mappings

Amazon Mappings define the relation between Valigara product fields and Amazon listing attributes for each Amazon category.

When posting products to Amazon, Valigara automatically fills Amazon attributes according to the selected mappings. The mapping can use an existing product value from Valigara or a fixed value defined in the mapping settings.

Mappings save time by removing the need to enter values manually. They also allow posting multiple products in different Amazon categories together, with each listing receiving the relevant category-specific values.

Set Mappings

Each Amazon category has its own required and recommended fields. Hints are displayed next to Amazon fields, for example: "Required", "Only for products with gemstones", and "Only for products with pearls".

1. Go to the Amazon Settings page -> enter account settings -> Mappings tab
2. Select the main category and sub-category to see the list of Amazon fields
3. Select the mapping option:
   • Automatic - predefined mapping created by the Valigara eCommerce team
   • System field - select an existing Valigara field that contains the relevant information
   • Skip this - do not send any value
   • Free - define specific text for the Amazon field
   • Amazon values - select a fixed value from the Amazon list
4. Click Save at the bottom of the page

Add a category

Main Amazon jewelry categories are set with default mappings. To add mappings for rarely used Amazon categories:

1. Go to the Amazon Settings page
2. Enter account settings -> Mappings tab
3. Select a main category from the drop-down and click +Add
4. Click Save
