Gemstone certificates

Modified on Mon, 01 Jun 2020 at 08:49 PM

Valigara handles certificate images separately from product images. Add certificate or appraisal images to listings to improve buyers experience and add value to the purchase. Post them together with the product images to sales channels. Set a default position of certificate image between product images for all sales channels, or for each one separately in Commercial Settings.

Certificate images

The Certificate images page allows adding or removing certificates from multiple gemstones.

  • Click Select Images to choose images to upload and click Yes
  • 2 certificate images are available per gemstone. They are handled as "Gemstone Certificate 1" and "Gemstone Certificate 2"
  • When uploaded, Valigara creates the PDF file from the image
  • If the Certificate image is uploaded in the PDF format, the JPG version is created

2. For single gemstones, click Upload images and select a local file to upload

  • Click Save Certificates to apply
  • Click on specific image/s in Certificates column to select -> Delete Selected to remove

Certificates page

Valigara allows uploading multiple certificates in bulk, and automatically linking them to the relevant gemstone according to the filename. For this, the certificate file name should include the gemstone code or the existing certificate number in Valigara.

  • Go to Inventory - > Certificates
  • Click "Upload certificates" to select a local file in format xxx_yyyy.zzz to upload

Fetch certificate data from GIA
