Enabling Valigara CDN with custom VSite domain

Modified on Mon, 17 Jun at 11:16 AM

Valigara automatically enables the Content Delivery Network (CDN) service for all VSites running on Valigara's domain. This enhances the performance and security level of your website performance.

If your VSite runs with your custom domain, proceed as follows to enable the CDN layer:

Use the Valigara's CloudFlare account

1. Contact the Valigara support team about migrating your DNS to CloudFlare

2. We will run the domain setup and provide you with the updated DNS names

For example:

NS    dane.ns.cloudflare.com

NS    rosa.ns.cloudflare.com

3. Update the DNS records of your domain with the records received from Valigara

4. After the DNSs migrate to Cloudflare, the Valigara team will enable the CDN caching.

Use proprietary CloudFlare account

1. Migrate your domain to CloudFlare

2. Make sure your website records point to Valigara's VSite

3. Enable "Proxied" traffic for the website

* The Cloudflare CDN service is subject to your CloudFlare subscription

* Please take into account that the propagation is not immediate. Registrars take up to 24 hours to process nameserver changes (quicker in most cases).
