Scheduling Template creates a scheduling settings preset, which can be used in multiple schedules easily. When multiple processes have to run with the same scheduling, using the Template allows to manage all the schedules from one place, and update easily.
Create new Scheduling Template
To create new(edit existing) template:
- Go to Channels > Schedules > Scheduling Templates page
- There are 2 ways to create the Scheduling template
- Click
(create blank new template)
- Click "Duplicate" on the existing template (create a new template based on the existing one)
- Click
In the Scheduling Template page:
- Name - Use a name that helps you identify it easily if you have multiple templates
- Start Date - select the date when the template will run for the first time
- End Date:
- Calendar - select a specific date when the template will run for the last time
- Days - choose between 1-30 days or select "Custom" for longer time frame and add number of days
- Time - select start and end hour for the operation, the system will distribute the action between those hours
- Defined hours are calculated automatically for each sales channel
- The system takes into account real marketplace time
- Example: Scheduling Template with 12:00 - 22:00 and Post to eBay operation with 100 products,
the 100 products will be evenly posted to eBay between these hours.
- Repeat - option used for "End Date: Days" and not applicable to "End Date:Calendar"
- Every - choose whether to repeat the schedule every X Days, Weeks, Week Days or Month
- Repeat maximum X times - define number of times the scheduler will run automatically
Click Save and Exit
Modify existing Scheduling Templates
To edit, duplicate or delete existing templates:
- Go to Channels > Schedules > Scheduling Templates
- Click the Edit
button to make changes to existing template
- Click the Delete
to remove the template, and cancel any future related schedules
