Global Settings - Image Settings

The image settings define how Valigara handles all images. To set up and optimize the products' certificate, watermark and box images go to Global Settings > Image Settings:



Product images

  • Set images order on each marketplace separately - check to allow setting up specific order of product and promotional images for every sales channel separately
  • Minimal image size to compress - When an image is uploaded into Valigara it is compressed. For better SEO compatibility.
    • Default image compression is 85% quality to optimize them for the channels and reduce loading times
    • Leave field blank to disable compressing
    • set the minimum file size in KBytes
  • Resize images - define which images should automatically be resized on upload into Valigara
    • All - select to resize all images to specific "Resize image, Width and Height" values
    • Only large images - resizes images with a resolution larger than set "Resize image, Width and Height" values
    • Only small images - resizes images with a resolution lower than set "Resize image, Width and Height" values
  • Resize image, Width / Height - desired width and height when uploading images. Leave 0 to disable automatic resizing on image uploads
  • Thumbnail Width / Height - desired width and height of thumbnails. Used in Complimentary products' descriptions, VSite emails, VSite product/preview page and Facebook storefront
  • Resize images in emails - desired width and height of images used in automatic emails 
  • Customize Image names - renames image files with generators templates. Learn more 
  • Convert images to JPG - converts original file to jpg file. If unchecked 

Certificates


Set up and enable posting certificates together with product images to sales channels.




Watermarks


Valigara allows dynamically applying watermarks to the images.




Box images


Valigara handles box (promotional) images separately from the product images, and allows setting up specific images per sales channel. Read more about handling Box images.
