Orders Procedures

Modified on Tue, 22 Apr at 3:52 PM

Order Procedures add the next level of order management automation. They allow running multiple actions in a single operation. Procedures can include Printing, Changing Status, Copying Data—set New, and Copying Data—between Fields.

A good use of a procedure is when a new order is created. You need to change the status/set some new values, and start printing:

  • Change Status to "In Work" if status was "Paid"
  • Copy Data - Set New for field "Comment"
  • Print using "Etsy - production slip" template if channel = Etsy
  • Print using "eBay - production slip" template if channel = eBay
  • etc.

Combine all of the above in a single Procedure "New Order" and run it to add/print all the selected values together.

Create / Edit Procedure

  • Go to Orders -> Orders settings -> Procedures
  • Click Add new/Edit existing
  • On the Procedure page
    • Set up the conditions: Conditions run the Procedure tailored to specific types of orders. This allows creating/printing the content for all orders together, without the need to run multiple Procedures.
      • Define the Order field, and the matching value (f.i. STATUS = In Work, Account = Etsy main)
      • Repeat to add as many product conditions as needed
    • Click "Add" to add as many Procedure steps as needed
    • Click Save and Exit
