Make listings inactive instead of delete

There are cases when Valigara is programmed to remove (end) listings automatically from marketplaces. For example, when product's quantity becomes 0, or when the product is removed from Valigara.

Sometimes, in such cases we still prefer not to delete the listings from the marketplace, because listing can be used in the future. For example, when the listing history or related reviews are important.

Instead of that, it is better to mark the listing as inactive. Some marketplace provide this option. Using the "inactive" status, the product is not available for sale on the channel, but can be returned to selling later.

To replace the listing deletion from marketplaces with status "inactive", use the following settings:

eBay listings

  1.  Go to Inventory > Stock Settings
  2.  In Product Stock settings check "Check "out of stock" option before ending GTC listings":
  3. Save changes.

Etsy listings

  1. Go to Channels > Etsy Settings > Account settings -> Settings section
  2. Check the option "Deactivate listings in place of delete":
  3. Save changes

Amazon listings

  1. Go to Channels > Amazon Settings > Account settings -> Tools section
  2. Check the option "Deactivate listings in place of delete"
  3. Save changes

  2. Check the option "Make unavailable instead of delete"
  3. Save changes
